Looking at our Silverado in the sunlight the other day I saw a small run in the paint. That was all it took to remind me of the repairs made to the bed earlier this month. An untrained eye would never see the minor paint flaw and slight dimples from the re-worked metal. It's a truck so who really cares about a couple of imperfections?
What Silverado owners will care about is the cost of that 4x4 decal...

Its the same as the overpriced dealership floor mats or the trunk accessories (organizers, cargo net, etc). When you pay thousand of dollars for a car or a major repair you don't realize that you spend 100dollars for a plastic piece of @$#@ that could not more that $5 to build.
$20 isn't that bad even for a sticker compared to other overpriced car accessories

Yes, the sticker is worth at least 15 torques.

Compare that to the Silverado badge across the tailgate... I'll bet the price of that lettering approaches $100. Or that HUGE bowtie on the tailgate. I wonder how much one of those costs. I think $26 bucks isn't unreasonalbe, but then again, it's probably only about 4 bucks worth of vinyl and ink.

Just another thought... and off subject, but I just noticed the mileage was over 12K already. WOW, this truck get's driven a lot! How long has it been in the fleet now? Not even 6 months?

It sucks that you can see the line in the paint, but it looks like a pretty good repair job. As for the mileage:

That's probably part of the reason!

16 bucks for a decal? No thanks. That's ridculous.
