Nada, he got away clean. Luckily, we had uninsured motorist coverage, which after a four-week investigation, decided to pay up for the hit-and-run.

Again, my sympathies for the injuries suffered. I thought that the engine is designed to slide under the passenger compartment, not into it in a frontal collision.

Oh wow, Kelly! When I saw you holding the car seat going into the elevator last week and mentioned crash testing, I was referring to Consumer Reports' debacle. When you said the seat had already been through two, I couldn't quite figure out what you meant (since I only started working here at the end of November). At least I have a better idea of what you were saying now! I'm glad you and your family came out all right for the most part. Being a Subaru owner, I'm curious how the Forester fared since it's based on pretty much the same chassis as my Impreza.
