Miata Bonding

I drove the 2006 Mazda MX-5 Miata from Los Angeles to Pebble Beach and back. It was about 800 miles and I got around 31 mpg. Frankly, I was kind of dreading the trip since I thought I would be battered and deaf by the time I got there. But the Miata was remarkably comfortable for the long road trip...

And then, when I got a windy road, it was a blast. And get this, I even got my golf clubs in the back. I had to take them out of the bag, and put them in separately, but they fit.

The Miata was one of the first cars I drove when I started working for Edmunds.com six years ago. I remember getting behind the wheel and falling in love with driving again. I had the feeling again this time. Everything on this car comes together so well.

If I had money and wanted to have a stable of cars this would be my sports car.
