Silverado Crew Cab: Passes Personal Parking Test

2007 Chevrolet Silverado LT Crew Cab - Erin Riches

I've never driven a pickup with rear parking sensors before, but after taking my first drive in our long-term 2007 Chevrolet Silverado LT last night, I don't want to live without them. They took a lot of the guesswork out of finessing the truck in the narrow driveway behind my apartment -- and eliminated the need to get out of the truck and judge the lines. I was also impressed by the Silverado's maneuverability in tight spaces -- it felt smaller than our long-term Titan (even though it's actually 5 inches longer and 1 inch wider). Finally, I love the power-folding mirrors...

Although it's possible to fit the truck in this space without folding them, I like the peace of mind in case I don't follow exactly the right line. In the Titan, this was a manual process, but in this truck, you just press the button.
