2007 Chevrolet Silverado LT: Livin' Big In Tight Quarters

As an Angeleno with no true business that requires a truck, many would say a truck is the worst thing to own on the crowded west side. Trucks are my automotive guilty pleasure, however. Big, tough, and loud, what's not to like?

I've driven a lot of trucks from GM and I've got to say this is the best looking truck interior from Chevrolet that I've seen in years...
GM's design efforts are greatly appreciated. As my apartment doesn't have parking, I also appreciated the park assist system to help me squeeze into those tight spots out on the street. The only thing I didn't like was the transmission. It was slow to bring on the powerful engine when needed. Freeway passing required a few seconds more of timing.

I like the new Sierra's design better.

I like the Silverado's whole package inside and out now too, though the exterior struck me as wrong when I saw the first press release photos.

I agree Jerry, but the Jimmy is stil the better looking of this duo.

The ones I've seen at the local dealer with a full body color bumper and grill look a whole lot better than the partial fake chrome strip on the bumper that most trucks get. A bumper ought to be either a full piece of chrome, or fully body color painted.

Pick a side, please, Chevy!

The exterior looks great!
The Silverado/Sierra are the best looking trucks on the market now.
